Chubb Provides Rapid Coverage for Fire Damage Incident

 

A fire loss that resulted in damage to machinery. The incident occurred when an employee flipped a light switch and a bulb fell from a 20 ft. high fixture, shattering and triggering the fire that damaged the machinery. Subrogation was pursued against the light bulb manufacturer, but no manufacturing defect could be determined since the bulb shattered.

 

Chubb responded efficiently to the incident and settled the claim.

Chubb Swiftly Covers Damages from Compressor Explosion

 

A 35-year-old compressor was loaned to a customer, but an unexpected incident occurred when the compressor exploded. A fire started that damaged the insured’s building and contents.
