Chubb Appoints Scott Williams Private Equity Industry Practice Leader
New York, N.Y., July 1, 2025 – Chubb today announced the appointment of Scott Williams as Private Equity Industry Practice Leader, effective immediately.
Scott will continue to serve as the Private/Not-for-Profit Management Liability Practice Leader and will report to Michael Mollica, Vice President, Chubb Group and Division President, North America Financial Lines.
In this role, Scott will also lead Chubb's strategy for private equity-focused initiatives, overseeing integration of underwriting and claims services to ensure consistent delivery across all product lines tailored for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He succeeds Seth Gillston, who was recently appointed Head of Global Casualty for Major Accounts in North America.
“Scott’s extensive knowledge of the private equity sector and his proven track record at Chubb make him the ideal choice to lead our Private Equity Industry Practice,” said Mollica. “We're confident that under his leadership we will continue to innovate and drive our strategic initiatives to meet the needs of our clients and distribution partners in this dynamic landscape.”
Scott brings to the role over 15 years of insurance industry experience. He joined Chubb in 2009 as Division Counsel for the Private/Not-for-Profit Practice and has since held various underwriting and leadership roles.
