Whether you’ve recently bought your house, or it’s been in your family for generations, we understand the care and attention that goes into making it your home.
We don’t leave you to guess the value of your home. In most instances, we send an expert Chubb risk consultant to document the intricacies of your property and precious possessions, so you know you have the coverage you need. If you have high value contents worth over £100,000 you will benefit from our bespoke policies.
We restore to the standard you expect, and never below. For most homes, we guarantee that we will repair or rebuild your home exactly as it was, even if the costs exceed your sum insured.
We won’t force a course of action on you. In the event of covered total loss, if you decide not to rebuild, you can take an equivalent cash settlement of the value of your house.

What is Flood Re?
Flood Re is a joint initiative between the UK Government and insurers to help people who live in flood risk areas get affordable home insurance. It launched on 4 April 2016 and will run for 25 years.
Flood Re is not a home insurer itself – instead it works behind the scenes with existing insurance companies. As a re-insurance scheme it helps insurers offer more affordable flood insurance to those in areas at risk of flooding. This means people can shop around more easily to find policies with more affordable premiums and excesses.
The scheme helps households at the highest risk of flooding and provides information about taking action to reduce flood risk.
Customers will not deal directly with Flood Re. In the case of a customer making a claim because of a flood they will have their claim managed and repair works completed by their insurer in the usual way, but the insurer will then be able to recover those costs from Flood Re.
