Why choose Life Cover?
Life Cover provides you and your loved ones peace of mind that if the worst happens, they’ll be looked after. You can choose a cover level to suit your needs of up to $1.5 million which could help cover your mortgage, other outstanding debt, funeral costs and more.

Features of Life Cover
- As your life changes, your cover can be tailored over time to meet your needs.
- You can take out cover up to $1.5 million.
- If the life assured dies, to help with the initial expenses such as the funeral, we’ll make an early payment of up to $25,000 of the Life Cover sum insured upon notification of the death.
- Your cover will be adjusted each year to keep up with inflation, unless you choose to decline this.
- You can take out Life Cover at any age from 18 to 70 years old.
- If you decide that this insurance isn’t right for you within 30 days of your policy starting, we’ll refund any premiums paid and cancel your policy.
Understanding your cover
We don't cover death by suicide or intentional self-injury, within 13 months of getting covered. In some cases we can't cover certain pre-existing medical conditions.

With the Life Events Benefit, you can increase the Life Cover sum insured when certain events happen in a life assured’s life.
If the life assured experiences a certain life event, you can apply to increase the Life Cover sum insured without assessment of their health.
Your premiums will increase from the date we’ve increased the sum insured.
We cover certain life events
You can increase the Life Cover sum insured for a life assured if they experience a significant event in their life such as, getting married or entering a civil union, having a child, buying a house or property investment.
