This one year programme gives you the chance to develop a wide range of commercial skills and could potentially lead to a number of roles within Underwriting, Claims or Operations. Based in a regional office, you will need to be mobile within the EEA region.
You must have at least 9 months’ work experience to apply. You should be able to demonstrate intellectual agility, curiosity and a keen interest in developing a career in a global insurance business.
Our Early Career programme offers you a great introduction to Chubb and the world of insurance. You’ll gain exposure to a broad variety of corporate clients but also to a range of functions within the organisation. You’ll also get the opportunity to work closely with underwriters, clients and brokers, as you learn how to develop international insurance programmes for some of Europe’s largest multinational companies.
Our programmes are designed to be a launch pad to a successful career with Chubb. The development and support offered throughout the programmes will ensure that you have a strong foundation to progress within the organisation – and you will also have the opportunity to be referred for future vacancies.
The programme commences in September. Details of when we will next be receiving applications are available from the Resourcing Team.
Over the course of the day, we will ask you to complete a number of exercises, including:-
"The ECDP programme has blended on-the-job work experience of a normal day-to-day role with focused development blocks spread throughout the year. It isn’t rotational which suited me as you can really focus on the business area you are placed in, learn the job and build the relationships required to thrive in that position. Throughout the course, the ECDP graduates have had huge senior management exposure which I think is rare in a company of this size."
"The programme gives you the possibility to develop subject matter expertise and enhance your soft skills and offers great career development possibilities combined with international travel already at a very early stage of your career."
