To the extent any Personal Data is collected through cookies, this Privacy Statement will supplement, and is to be read in conjunction with, the Cookies Notice.
“Personal Data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access.

(e) Performing due diligence, screening and verification checks or other similar activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements or policies and procedures appliable within the Chubb Group.
(f) Responding to, and addressing your requests, complaints, and feedback.
(g) Any purposes in relation to investigation of fraud, misconduct, omission, or any unlawful action, whether relating to your application, insurance claims or any other matter relating to your policy, and whether there is any suspicion of the aforementioned
(h) Complying with applicable laws, regulatory requirements (foreign or domestic) and policies and procedures applicable within the Chubb Group, including monitoring reviews/audits and responding to (directly or indirectly) the relevant authorities in Singapore or any other jurisdictions where Chubb Group operates.
(i) Any purposes in relation with claims, actions and/or proceedings made by, against or involving you. Including but not limited to; exercising our rights to subrogation and disclosing any information necessary to substantiate the recovery of a claim.
(j) Conducting marketing activities by us, through our Third-Party Service Providers and/or Business Partners, only if you have given us your consent to do so.
(k) Requesting for your feedback or participation in surveys, compiling statistics and conducting market research or similar purposes to create/improve/identify products and services, including insurance products and services that may be of interest to you.
(l) Assessing and processing your application from our Career Site/ Independent Distribution Partners Site.
(m) Processing payment instructions in relation to your policy.
(n) Overseeing the safety and security of our premises, which involves activities such as CCTV surveillance and inspections.

The type of AI we use varies based on your relationship with us and by product and service.
By enrolling for Chubb’s insurance products and using our platform(s) or services, you:
(a) consent to Chubb collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data for the Purposes as described above;
(b) consent to Chubb collecting personal data about you from sources other than yourself and using, disclosing and/or processing the same, for one or more of the Purposes as described above;
(c) consent to Chubb disclosing your personal data to its third-party service providers, or business partners for the Purposes as described above; and
(d) consent to Chubb transferring your personal data to its third-party service providers, or business partners, some of which may be sited outside of Singapore, for the Purposes as described above.
Where there is a relevant legal exemption that applies to the way in which Chubb collects, use, and disclose your personal data, Chubb reserves the right to rely on such exemption only if and to the extent it is necessary to do so for one or more of the prescribed purposes set out in the first and second schedules of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
