Chubb has prepared a Target Market Determination (TMD) for retail products as required under section 994B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). The TMD is designed to assist customers, distributors and Chubb staff to understand who the product has been designed for and who it is not suitable for. The TMD sets out certain events which may suggest to us that the product is no longer suitable for the intended target market and should this occur we will undertake a review of the product’s suitability. The TMD also sets out the conditions and restrictions on distribution of the product as well as the obligations of the distributors to report back on certain data to us so that we can assess the ongoing suitability of the product for the target market.
