Donald is an Associate in the Casualty Practice Group of the Philadelphia House Counsel firm of Ray, Post, Young & Babrich. Prior to joining Chubb’s house counsel, Mr. Burns worked in an AM Law 100, national insurance defense firm. Mr. Burns also has experience working in regional law firms and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Burns is an experienced attorney who has handled litigation from inception to trial. Mr. Burns previous civil practice included medical malpractice, premise liability, automobile and transportation litigation, as well asbestos defense, and general liability matters. At the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Burns prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies as was a member of the Homicide / Non – fatal Shooting Unit. Mr. Burns currently defends all types of casualty liability cases including premises liability, products liability, and motor vehicle liability.
