Rose Cotter is a Senior Attorney with Chubb's Westchester House Counsel firm Varvaro, Cotter, Bender & Walthall. Ms. Cotter has extensive trial and appellate experience and handles complex and high exposure cases in several areas, including product liability, construction accident/labor law, premises liability, motor vehicle and others. Ms. Cotter has tried many cases to verdict and has written and argued many appeals that resulted in published decisions. Ms. Cotter has taught several continuing legal education courses covering many topics including trial tactics and New York Labor Law.
Before joining Chubb, Ms. Cotter was a partner in a mid-sized Manhattan law firm that specialized in insurance defense and was comprised primarily of former prosecutors. Ms. Cotter began her legal career with theBrookly Public Defender's Office where she handled criminal cases from inception through trial.
