Joseph Varvaro is the Managing Attorney of Chubb's Westchester House Counsel firm Varvaro, Cotter, Bender & Walthall . Previously, Mr. Varvaro was a Senior Trial Attorney with Chubb's Long Island House Counsel firm Perez, Varvaro & Cariello. Prior to joining Chubb, he was an associate with Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, a trial attorney with Hartford's House Counsel firm Langan & Levy, and an associate with Kennedy & Casey.
Mr. Varvaro has tried dozens of cases and has written and argued thirty-nine [39] appeals. Mr. Varvaro has handled many types of complex and high exposure cases in the areas of products liability, premises liability, automobile liability, Labor Law liability, medical and dental malpractice, defamation, excessive force, contract disputes, title disputes, discrimination, whistleblower, and sexual harassment.
