Daniel A. Collado is Litigation Counsel in the Financial Lines Practice Group of the White Plains House Counsel firm Varvaro, Cotter, Bender & Walthall. Daniel handles a wide range of cases, including employment discrimination, housing discrimination, accessibility cases, and directors and officers liability. Prior to joining Chubb House Counsel, Daniel was an attorney with the United States Department of Homeland Security where he handled, from inception through trial and appeal, employment, whistleblower, and tort litigation and arbitrations. Daniel also served as an instructor for the Department by creating and rolling out a training program for supervisory law enforcement officers. Prior to joining the Department, Daniel was an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx District Attorney’s Office where he handled many types of criminal cases, including robbery, burglary, and narcotics cases from the investigation stage through trial, as well as conducting long-term investigations involving voluminous records and documents.
